Philip Ester Middle School visited Tsinghua High School for exchange
On the afternoon of November 7th,Phillips Exeter Academy, USA,PEA President Ms. Lisa MacFarlane and other university leaders led by Zhang Yi, former Vice provost and former Director of International Division of Tsinghua University,Exchange visit to Tsinghua High School。Mr. Wang Dianjun, President of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, and Mr. Shi Ping, vice president, received the guests。
The guests first visited the high research laboratory and watched the creative inventions of the students. Various devices that convert energy into electricity, 3D glasses, smart beds and other creative design inventions of the students were praised by President PEA and accompanying leaders。

Afterwards, the two sides held a discussion in the conference room on the first floor of the training building。Wang gave a welcome speech and made a brief introduction to the High School Attached to Tsinghua University. He hoped that the two excellent top high schools could carry out exchanges and cooperation。Principal Lisa MacFarlane also explained the characteristics of PEA, and mentioned the core concept of PEA's emphasis on both knowledge and character, as well as the "Hanichs Round Table teaching method", which was pioneered by the school 86 years ago.。Finally, she expressed her interest and longing for teacher training and student exchanges between the two schools。Before PEA's delegation left, the two sides exchanged souvenirs and agreed to continue to explore ways of cooperation。
